Elven Thin Blade...

We're starting out a new FR campaign and I'm thinking of using a rapier-like weapon for my fighter/sorcerer. I had told a friend that I was interested in a bladed rapier... and he recomended an Elven Thin Blade. He told me it was from a dragon magazine and he gave me the stats for it. It sounds fairly interesting, if not possibly a bit munchkinny, but I'm playing an elven character, so it might be approrpiate. Anyway, I'd like to get a clear idea of what it looks like. Does anyone have the drawing of it from Dragon magazine scanned in or know where I might find it? Just hoping...

It's a very long, very thin slashing blade. It is to the rapier what a bastard sword is to a longsword.

Not 'munchkin', since it doesn't violate 3e's fairly obvious weapon design conventions.

Something is either overpowered or not; being appropriate for roleplaying reasons does neither alter nor excuse it. (I'd just drop the "elven", humans have experimented with a number of rapier designs in history so they would have invented it anway.

It's also been reprinted in the Arms & Equipment Guide, I'm pretty sure.

I have seen the mention of the thinblade as slashing... I do believe it is a peircing weapon....

Are those originally intended to be Elf mini's?
