Elvish Cosmology

I have decided to adopt most of the Tolkien Elvish Cosmology for my campaign (sans Melkor)--I was wondering if anyone else has done this, or if there are any thoughts on trying this. It seems pretty easy. I've made Iluvatar into a hermaphroditic/male and female creatrix deity, Manwe is Corellon Larethian (Frey among the Norse), and Varda, the Star-Lady and Manwe's spouse is Elbereth (or Freya among the Norse).
