Embarrassing In-Character Moments

setup: ambush by archers with silence on arrows.
pc got hit with arrow and pc is with a female npc.

pc gestures to the npc, pointing at her then pointing down towards crotch.
Npc looks at his face, then down, then avidly shakes her head sideways.
pc repeats gesture. Rest of party starts laughing.
DM (me) Asks, what were you trying to say?
pc repeats gesture, then exasperatedly say "STAY HERE". pc then realized what the gesture looked like.

but it was too late, the laughing fit has started and stayed there for a good 15 minutes.

Last game session: Some of the PCs break into a cottage to stop a kidnapper (turned out to be an innocent woman, whose equally innocent husband they managed to kill - but that's another story ;)). The party fighter, who is a big, beefy guy who's very proud of how intimidating he is, especially since his half-dragon heritage started manifesting itself, decides to leap through the wooden window and make a dramatic entrance.

I ask him to roll, thinking that with his strength all he'll need is a 3 to make it through. Not so surprisingly, he rolls a 1, bounces off the shutters with a massive thud, and staggers into the room waving a sword while picking wooden splinters out of the scales on his head.

I did tell him the woman was a little intimidated, but he didn't seem much happier.
