I'd be happy if I could simply make a one-time credit card contribution via PayPal without joining, like some other vendors do (e.g., Code Monkey Publishing). If I could simply do a one-time credit-card donation via PayPal without joining, I would have done so by now.

I'm not too sure what you mean. You could buy a CS account (either by Paypal or via RPGNow) and I could make sure you didn't get the benefits, but why not have them?

Check this announcement http://www.enworld.org/forums/announcement.php?f=2&announcementid=54 The first post, by Piratecat has an address to send donations in the form of a personal check. I would check with him by e-mail, first, to make sure he is still accepting checks, but it is still your best bet.

Yep. I can't use US cheques, so PC has sometimes been willing to handle it.
