70,000 members is pretty cool. Would like to see individual visits a day or some such, though. WOld be interesting to see how many different people visit the boards daily, even if some do use secondary accounts.

There's a news article on the front page you might want to read:

"In the last 30 days, we've had 145,287 unique visitors, and served over 10 million page-views.*"

"with a very keen 2% of people visiting 200+ times in the last month!"

Hmmm, I wonder how I ranked with a forum page open at all times... One really long visit, or many smaller ones?

I wonder if this site is going to become like Slashdot where the lower your userid #, the more "prestige" you have. :)

I see Morrus is #1 (duh?), PirateCat is #2, Eric Noah is #4. I'm 1000-something. With my post count in the teens at the moment, I guess it doesn't mean too much -- but STILL.

Cheers.

Do you know the identity of lucky member #70,000?

Since this announcement was made yesterday, I wonder if it might be me.

Well, your userid is 71718.
The person with userid 70000 is wlukens (http://www.enworld.org/forum/member.php?u=70000 -- heh, who will probably wonder why his user profile has so many visitors now :) )

But, having said that, if anyone was deleted between 1 and 69999 (which is entirely likely) then the user number is not a good measure of member number.

Not that any of this is necessarily important, just answering AverageTable's question.
