Encounters with Legionnaires

Here I will post typical encounters for Ulruz Legions. Legionaire encounters in Ulruz are always:

Pair (Legionnaires, level 1-3)
Squad (10 Legionnaires, level 1-3; 1 Princepales, level 4-5
Century/Cohort/Legion (see Gazetteer)

The range for a pair of troopers is thus CR 2 to CR 5. The range for a unit is CR 8 to CR 10 (roughly). A Century is roughly CR 18, not including machines of war, auxiliaries, and arcane/divine caster support - not that most people will be fighting a full century, since that'd be like swatting gnats for a high level party.

What's the point? Hobgoblins are great bad guys no matter what the level, especially at low and mid PC levelsl! Ulruz hobgoblins are most prominantly found in Ulruz (of course), Cryndon, Suryanastra, Kinrisar and Mittendein. Tribal hobgoblins are like goblins, the world is lousy with them.
