End of OGC Interlock?

I noticed that the latest Green Ronin "Races of Reknown" book "Bastards & Bloodlines" did not have the OGC Interlock logo.

Has this concept been abandoned?

I can't talk for Green Ronin, but I think the main point of the OGL Interlink was for products that linked. To my knowledge there was no Paradigm Concepts book to link with Bastards & Bloodlines.

Hello Dave,

The OGC Interlock is not its own line per se. Green Ronin and PCI both have separate lines, which to this point have also had the OGC Interlock logo on them.

It was always the intent to Interlock those products that truly had a reason for interlocking, (i.e. products that compliment each other).

At the time that Bastards & Bloodlines was being produced, we didn't have any other product that could compliment it. Therefore, we did not.

The next product that will Interlock (albeit months apart) will be Green Ronin's Fang and Fury and PCI's Slaves of the Moon. The reason for their release being months apart is due to the extensive changes to the Lycanthrope rules in 3.5. Mike Mearls felt it might be best to hold off until after 3.5 was released so that the book wouldn't be obsolete within a few months of it hitting the stores.

Should you have any further questions, please let me know.

Best,

Thanks for the responses! I'm glad the concept has not been abandoned. Now I just have to make sure I have enough $$ for all of those products that are waiting for the release of 3.5.

Is it wrong to take out a second mortgage to buy RPG stuff?

And third mortgages are okay, but only for MEG stuff right Hal?

Did I post the rules somewhere? Because Drawmack is right 13 A subsection 3 clearly states "...if taking out a third mortgage you can only use that money for Mystic Eye products or other products approved by Hal." ;)

Paradigm and GR have great stuff looking forward to both products.

Bummer. I don't own a house to take a mortgage out on to buy RPG stuff. :(

That's no problem. Just find a friend with a house! After all, if they are your friend, I'm sure they'd be willing to help you out. :)

By looking over my rulesheet here I see that it is also okay to seel younger syblings, significant others, and any one close to you into slavery for money to purchase RPG materials. Provided that you do this in the name of research for a module you are writting where the PCs will have to deal with slave traders.
