Kendrick creeps near the wounded creature then suddenly smashes his pommel right between the eyes of the spider-thingy.

He examines it warily, blades in front to prevent any sudden counter attack.

Martelai is already bending over woman's body, trying to ascertain if she's still alive. He hoists her up, taking care NOT to let her head on his shoulder and starts moving toward the stairs.

"Let's not wait next attack in this cramped quarters."

"I'm on it,"and then with some doubt."If you say so."

Bell pulls her dagger and stands next to the Lt.. Her eyes darting all around.

Kendrick's pommel smacks the spider-creature dead center, dropping it to the ground. It seems alive still, but doesn't move.

Downstairs, Veruzak finds the three others recovering from the initial attack. Atlas stares at the ground, ready to strike anything the comes out, while Martelai has picked up the woman. She moans softly, but doesn't regain consciousness.

Outside, Lt. Rayn moans some more and opens his eyes. They spin wildly for a moment before alighting on Bell, and his mouth works. He manages to find his voice finally... and begins shrieking as loud as he can. He has rather forceful lungs.

[sblock=Status]Well, Rayn's awake and Kendrick has a prisoner spider-creature. Martelai has the woman, and Veruzak has a KABOOM! called for, but where will he direct it?[/sblock]

[sblock=Bell]You can feel more spider-creatures under the ground, but don't know that's what they are. There's no sign of danger though, apart from the movement under the ground.[/sblock]

Bell's eyes begin to dart all over. There's some sort of arcane presence beneath me, Veruzak has left me alone, and the man who was possessed by evil madness is now awake and screaming. . . I should probably do something. . . Stumbling a little, Bell pulls out her badge and holds it before Lt. Rayn, with her dagger hand.

"Now Lt. I am an official agent of the Law and need you to calm down."

Bell herself was having a hard time doing the same however. "I SAID CALM DOWN!" Came a quick follow up, her voice wavering.

Kendrick whistles happily as he ties the spider tighter than a sausage.

MARTELAI, DROP HER! Catein, bind the woman immediately, she no longer has control. Veruzak heard the penetrating scream of Rayn, and thinking quickly amplified it with arcane energy to a pitch that would vibrate matter.

Veruzak screams over the magically enhanced Rayn, COLLECT THE SPECIMENS ALIVE! I WANT TO EXAMINE THEM! WE NEED TO DRAG THEM UPSTAIRS! ... GAG HIM BELL! Veruzak isn't even sure Bell can hear him, but he hopes.

I'm going to take the feat that let's Veruzak teleport an ally out of my blast area... Level 2

Unless someone has OOC issues with friendly fire, which I will respect, thunderwave enlarged on everything, plus below. Enlarging to do less damage on purpose, and choosing to push no one. Also, non-lethal. Looking to collect some living specimens.

Everyone screaming back wasn't helping Bell calm down one bit and she began pacing back and forth in front of the Lt. hoping he calms down.

While pacing, and hoping, she digs through he bag for some rope.

While pacing, hoping, and digging, she calls back to her allies.

"Gout! Pout! Snout! Lout! Scout! Shout! Doubt! Sane! Cane! Gain! Main! Slain! Disdain!"

[sblock=actions]If Lt. Rayn doesn't stop screaming, Bell takes her dagger, cuts a bit of her cloak, cuts some rope and tries to gag him.[/sblock]

If Veruzak blast everything down in the cellar, then Atlas protects the unconscious woman by stepping in front of Martelai, taking the blast directly into his shield.
