Veruzak had been picking up unconscious spiders and treating them in much the same way as Kendrick, when Atlas came shouting down the stairs.

Atlas angrily storms to the cellar and finds Catein and Veruzak. " WIZARD! " he yells as he addresses the arcane-user " You will not be treating Ryan as an experiment! He is a living being and should be treated as such " and he takes a moment to calm down "Consider yourself warned "
The large statue moves closer to Veruzak "Now tell me, whats wrong with him?" he demands to know " Why is he in such pain and what is this Bell speaks of, a beast with tentacles?

Bind the woman out there the same way, she's got the same marks, and I'll check to see if there is a mind in her head...

Veruzak is ready to teleport past Atlas, so that Catein and Atlas can't jump him. He's very nervous about the constructs turning on him...

Atlas listens interestingly to what Veruzak has to say but is not entirely convinced and as the magician mentions the static his eyebrows lift. " When you are finished here, meet us outside. I will ask of you to prove this theory of yours and explain fully to us what you know about this phenomena " and he starts to move outside " I'll bind the woman if the others haven't done it yet "

When outside he binds the woman, if she hasen't been bound yet. He then walks over to Ryan " I am sorry friend " he says to him and knocks Ryan out cold with his fist. Then he examines his head thoroughly until Veruzak comes outside.

When he hears Veruzak's plan, Kendrick shrugs indiferently.

I'd like to go immediately to the source of this problem from here, someone else can carry Lt. Rayn, he bothers my asthma, on that note Veruzak removes a small pouch from his robes. In his other hand he pulls a strider from his belt pouch, with delicate eladrin fingers, the wizard sorts the small pouch for just the right herbs. Placing them inside the strider and lifting it to his lips, Veruzak snaps his fingers and the mixture lights in a puff of pink smoke, which he takes a long draw from. Ah, I am ameliorated. As I was saying, the static feels as if it has no central point, but the signal must be coming from somewhere. Lt. Rayn can be used as a divining rod to that source. Martelai, Bell, please assist me, I'm going to probe the woman's mind here. Make sure "it" doesn't trace it's way back into my consciousness. She may be "fresher" and have a stronger signal trace. If so, we carry her instead. Ready?

anyway, I'd like Martelai and Bell to assist Veruzak with an Arcana check on the fresh new "body"

I left a hook for the good aligned folk to get indignant if they would enjoy, Veruzak is uncaring enough to just leave these "bodies" laying wherever, but
they still may count as living beings to some folks.

Ready to push this forward if everyone else is up for it.

He hasn't looked specifically yet but would a passive perception of 17 notice Martelai's note?

Bell shuffles over, feeling rather nervous and a bit guilty about what was going.

"Yeah I'm ready Veruzak. . . if you say so."

She locks her eyes on the wizard and opens her mind to what's about to be done.

Martelai steps aside to form triangle with Bell and Veruzak. He seems worried still about the woman.

He thinks:
"If I moved faster instead of simply assuming it's a trap maybe she wouldn't be a drone now?"

Veruzak makes physical contact with the woman, his two assistants, and the ground. Opening his mind, and allowing Bell, and Martelai enough room to protect him, the eladrin was reminded of Bell's true origin. Comfortable with Martelai, and Bell's competence, Veruzak reached out with arcane tendrils, the ground, the woman, and her consciousness.

Oh, right, that note. I don't recall you ever saying that Veruzak went outside. But if you are outside, you've seen it. Wait, you left Rayn outside right? So you must be outside. Everybody's outside. Wonderful. You've seen the note.
