Martelai hurries toward the spot where the seeker expired, looking for any trace of it's being. He walks around slowly, catching his second wind and focusing his mind.

"Did anyone else get images of the coast after the attack of those seekers?"

He then helps with binding of living victims and looks for a way to lay them on elevated position (such as table or crate) just in case those spider things dig under again. He doesn't really care about dogs so he binds their snouts and legs and leaves them laying on the ground.

OOC: 2 healing surges to return to 27hp. hm, can anyone do something about that 1 hp? Heal skill or second wind initiating power giving little boost. It seems inefficient to spend healing surge to heal 1 hp.

OOC2: I'm home baby sitting and will probably be slow to post until at least wednesday

Bell stares grumpily at her team as she drags herself over near Catein. Stupid nonheroes. Stupid Veruzak. Stupid Tentacles Monsters. She looks to Martelai.

"Yes." She plops down on the ground and digs around her bag, finally pulling out a flute. She looks up at the construct. "They should not interrupt me." She begins to play.

" I was not hit by one of these strange beings, what exactly did you see Martelai?" but Atlas' interest in the answer dies quickly as he looks at the dead and unconscious bodies around him. With a sad expression he picks up his throwing hammer and javelin used during the combat and then starts to drag the unconscious creatures up next to the house while he listens to what what the warlock has to say.

As soon as Bell starts to play her music he relaxes more and when he is finished pulling the dogs and people up to the house he joins Bell. Sitting next to her, he gives her a friendly stroke with his hand on her back, showing her his appreciation of her soothing music. " You did well in our fight little one, I am sure we will stop whomever that is to blame "
 

After relaxing on the roof for a bit, Veruzak suddenly appears at ground level, where he takes a sit.

The wizard goes through his customary routine, creating a pink cloud about his head. After several minutes of relaxing, he stands to examine the spoils of war.

How sad, the problem seems to be worse than previously stated, or spreading rapidly. If these poor victims do not recover from their affliction, I claim them, can't have zed running a muck. Well, let's store the bodies somewhere safe, don't want them getting damaged if their brains may return. [sblock=Bluff check 11]It's apparent that Veruzak is holding back something more. It may be possible that he hopes the zed stay that way...[/sblock] Veruzak casts about the field randomly, looking rather half-heartedly for items of interest. His mind truly focused on the arcane signatures on each of the individuals they had put down. Striving to sense the white noise he had heard in the arcane here, or the pulse from earlier. Using each of the bodies as divining rods, and concentrating for a lengthier time on the hounds.

[sblock=Veruzak]You don't notice anything of value on the people, unless you're really into ragged clothing that reeks of saltwater. However, as you walk from body to body, you realize that you are serving as a perfectly functional divining rod, for the strange tugging sensation changes slightly when you move around.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I don't feel safe resting o this island... What say we finish this before the night falls? Upon further examination, I may serve just as fine a diving rod as Lt. Rayn, or any of these... victims. Veruzak is careful with his last word.
