" Thank you little softskin " says the marble statue with a smile as he hands Bell his share of the treasure.
At first Atlas looks a bit insulted by Martelai's lack of faith in him, since he as Bell had pictured six people and two dogs to be an easy feat to carry but he realizes that he can't argue with him either, after all how in the world is he going to carry so many creatures at once " It certainly will be quicker if we do so "Neurotic said:I don't think Atlas alone can carry everyone. Or, for that matter, Catein and Atlas together. Maybe we could improvise some kind of strecher or sled with this table?"
Atlas helps the little one turn the table and fetches three people and a dog. " Let's see if this will work. Kendrick or Catein, could one of you assist me " and he lifts the homemade stretcher along with whomever helps him.ScorpiusRisk said:"That may be too much for the table as well. We don't want to stack them. Still I think the table is a good idea. Perhaps two trips. Mr Atlas, Mr Kent and Catein shall take half of them into town, while we wait here. Then we shall all proceed with the rest."
Bell pulled a sheet from the bed, flipped the table over and began attaching it to the bottom.
The earth genasi sends Veruzak a grim look and considers if he should throw him into the basement and lock him inside there but somehow he resists the temptation " How many times do you need me to remind you that there is still a possibility to save them! " he snaps. " If it is impossible to bring them back, do you really think these people will just let you wander away with their loved ones?! I think not!"CaBaNa said:Great idea Bell! Local persons checking the bodies will be great for the towns moral, when they say "sorry there is nothing we can do", the IAC can offer to take the burden for the townsfolk, how considerate! I'm feeling dizzy...
