[...snip...]
I had the similar idea of imbuing weapons with dimension door, and similar effects. Basically, how would I go about defeating enemies by warping them out of the way in related ways?
I'm really curious to hear people's thoughts on this part of it. Even if the whole "trap 'em in a no-dimensional bag" approach is problematic, what about the "stab 'em and tport 'em to a spot 30ft away" approach?

Are there any items (weapons in particular) that auto-teleport an opponent a short (or long, i suppose) distance away?

A duskblade channeling a dimension hop spell (2nd level) would teleport his opponent 5 ft/ 2 levels. Pretty handy if there is a cliff present. Of course the opponent gets a will save to neg.

Dimension Hop is a spell with a Target Line, so I see no reason why you couldn't use a spell storing weapon to do the same thing.....

That could work very well, the only other thing I could think of is determining the direction you send them in, and making a harder (or nonexistant, preferrably) save.

I hunted around a bit and found (in MIC) a +1 equivalent weapons enhancement called "Dislocator" that teleports a target 10ft in any direction chosen by the wielder, Will save DC17, operates 3x/day.
