Ok, i just saw this game at my local mass market book store, its Called "ENGEL" which is clearly ( due to the artwork and the story i read) a Stylized form of the word "Angel". What the heck is it? it looked to use D20 rules but didnt use the "d20" logo ( now that i mention it neither does Green Ronin's "Mutants and Masterminds"). So what is it? is is crap? it looked like it should be the logical adjunct to White Wolf's "Demon" game, but i suppose it isnt.

I haven't played it myself, although from what I've gathered on the Boards its a fun post-apocalyptic game with exceptionally lethat combat (1d2 HP)

Engel is a german game that was created by a company that does the German translations of the White Wolf line.

S&SS has translated it to english and to d20.

First off the main pageprovides a link to a review, you do know there's more to ENworld than the messageboards didn't you?

This tells us that it is an OGL game and explains the lack of the D20 logo, but D20 like rules.

I flipped through the book at the FLGS. I think it included character generation rules. Thus, no d20 logo.

Heck, until I mentioned it, the guy running the shop didn't realize it was d20-based either. They had it on the shelf with the regular WW stuff.
