Enhancement bonus and bonus spells

Fox's cunning specifically mentions not granting you bonus spells, but an enhancement bonus from a headband of intellect does, right? Assuming it's worn all the time of course.

Yes, it does grant bonus spells.

I believe that's because it doesn't last nearly long enough to do so. But if you had a DM loony enough to let you make it permanent he'd likely allow bonus spells from it.

K, that's the way I always played, but I wanted to make sure. Thx guys.

I do wonder though which would be better- a permanent fox's cunning, which would cost XP to get, would be subject to dispel magic, and limited to a +4 enhancement- or a permanent (but rather expensive) headband of intellect...

The headband is better because it doesn't require the two house rules on permanency and fox's cunning.
