Enlarge Person question...

But why not just the have the part wiz/sorceror cast it- target is "one humanoid", not self.
You can only share spells with your companion (or mount, or familiar) when you are the one casting the spell.

If you cast enlarge person on yourself, then you can have it affect your companion. But if you receive the spell from another caster, it only affects you.

Why the arbitrary restriction?

It's a first level spell... it doesn't need much multiclassing to manage it...

True, it's probably less painful for a druid or a ranger. However, for a paladin, by the core rules, he's either got to take a level of Sorcerer or Wizard at first level and get the 1st-level maximum hp advantage on a d4 hit die, or take a level of cleric with the Strength domain at first level, and only be able to cast Enlarge Person once per day, or multiclass later and stop advancing as a paladin.

or a ring of spell storing? preferably extended ;)
My understanding is that Share Spells only works with actual cast spells, not effects from magic items or even SLAs.

I'm not at all certain about that, though. Perhaps some kind soul will show up with a cite one way or the other.

Definitely not SLAs.

There's debate as to what a ring of spell storing does. Is it activating a power, or is it allowing the wearer to cast a spell?
