The wording is indeed quite specific. And I saw that right away. But sometimes they word things in a way that sounds more precise than was intended. And I wondered "Why not Blast 4?" But I now see how Blast 4 could be more advantageous then 3 or 5 (my last post), and agree that they likely left out the middle ground intentionally
Still as far as house rules go, this one would be pretty minor. But me and my group decided to not house rule anything, even just a little bit.
