ENnies 2003 - Details & Submission Deadlines!

The Gen Con EN World D20 System Awards 2003 are approaching, and it is time for publishers wishing to enter their products for consideration by the nomination committee to do so! The deadline for entries this year is May 30th. Make sure you don't miss it! Click here for details of this year's awards.

The d20 System Awards, or “ENnies”, are a way to give d20 game designers, writers and artists the recognition they deserve. They are a peoples' choice award, and the final winners are voted upon by the gaming public. The ENnies are presented annually, live at Gen Con!

Since all the rest of my products are invalid for consideration for Ennies due to Dark Quest's affiliation with Natural 20 Press... may I suggest anything with my name in it?

We've seen two different methods:

*sending of a few strong products - this leaves the decision-making as to what constitutes the publisher's strongest product up to the publisher.

*sending of a lot of products - this leaves quite a bit of the discretion about what constitutes the strongest product of a publisher up to the ENnies judges.

There are advantages to both methods:

*in the former, the publisher can be satisfied that what he/she feels is his/her best material is being focused upon.

*in the latter, good material that might otherwise have been eclipsed may well get noticed - sometimes it takes more objective eyes to see how good something is.

I can say that there were plenty of winners using both methods.
