I also cannot vote. I'm the only one that uses my computer, but since I am at work at a big company that uses dynamic IP, I suppose it is possible that somehow someone at my company has voted and it is keeping me from voting (but I don't know what security you are using). I'll try from home, but I hope I get to vote. I've lurked here everyday (almost) since the site was launched.
Morrus, this is no complaint. I think security is the right thing, just venting some diappointment I guess. Plus, this bumps the thread back to the top.
One more thing, while I'm no stats genius, I agree with the person that made suggestions on normalizing the votes. I administer and analyze customer satisfaction surveys. You'd be amazed at how people want to "average" a scale that doesn't even have numbers! You know, 1=very dissatisfied, 5= very satisfied. then people want me to report the "average" score, as if there is an average between those that can be represented by a number! Sorry, more venting.
