Instead of the Crowne Plaza as originally advertised, the 2005 Gen Con EN World RPG Awards will be held at the lovely Indiana Roof Ballroom.
25,000 flyers advertising the old location were inserted into the attendee show bags, and months of publicity efforts are being reworked as organizers scramble to notify the hundreds of designers and fans expected to attend.
Next to the Embassy Suites Hotel and across from the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Roof's main entrance is on Washington Street under the Indiana Repertory Theatre Marquee. Connected via skywalk to the Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown, Circle Centre, and the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome, this unique venue specializes in ambiance, excellent service and unforgettable atmosphere.
We apologize for the confusion and potential inconvenience, but look forward to an evening in this gorgeous new location! The ceremony is still scheduled for Friday, August 19th, will begin shortly after 9pm, and is anticipated to last 2 hours.
