I'm having fun watching the RPG bloggers network. The grognardosphere is all in a tizzy because 4e won awards. It's amusing to watch.

Paizo has almost sold me on at least getting the .pdf for a look. And I agree, their success is great and will keep WotC on their toes.

I would like to tender an apology to Piratecat for the drunken rowdies among our company's number during the ceremony, and express my admiration for his stalwart ability to deal with them. Managing players in a game develops great skill!

The ENnies were definitely a shark tank this year, and in a good way. A lot of truly predatory products in there, lean and evolved eating, er, gaming machines. It was something to see. Congratulations to all the winners! It was a really great year.

Huh. Not sure where you were reading that - most of us were overjoyed at Swords & Wizardry taking silver. That was pretty damn neat! I know the buzz from people I spoke with after the award were curious about it and wanting to know more.
