Soon. As in as soon as possible. As the others have said, this year was REALLY hard. I was very impressed with the quality of entries. There was a bit of hair pulling on my part in some of the categories, as the other judges can tell you.
I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of Judge turn-over between years then. There can only be more good products to evaluate next year. I can see the submission deadline being moved up.

The nominations can be found on the news page. Congratulations to all those nominated (and damn you all for entering so many products this year!) :)

Of course, being the one who wrote the list up, it took me about two seconds to spot an error. It's "Avadnu" not "Avandu." :(

Oh, I think any of the judges would do it all over again next year, if given the chance. Just because it was difficult to judge, doesn't mean we didn't have a lot of fun doing so. I had the opportunity to read books that I probably wouldn't have picked up otherwise, and there is a lot of great stuff out there. I've got some new favorite authors and books now. I'm proud to have worked with my fellow judges this year, I think we did a bang up job under pretty tough circumstances.

Gencon's less than 3 weeks away, which isn't going to leave much time for awards slides or trophies. Or was all that scrapped this year? (I haven't been paying too much attention, so I'm sure I've missed something.)

Trophies are on, the last minute bit isn't done because all of gamedom gets to decide on it, but the trophies are on. :)

How much non-d20 material was there compared to d20? I think the judges might have bitten off more than they could chew by adding non-d20 categories. Yes, it's noble and all, but I would think something like that probably added quite a bit to the workload...

Anyway, great job. Definitely NOT the usual suspects in the categories.
