Still, Silver is pretty good! :heh:
Yeah, me too. I am happy it at least got a silver award! ;)

Don't minimize Green Ronin's accomplishment. Iv'e got no idea of the stats but I'll assume you're right that more people have played M&M than GoT, but it's not like we're comparing a WotC game to some 3rd party publisher. Plus, Green Ronin has built M&M without licensing some big name author or other property (as many superhero games have). They deserve due credit for creating the current definitive Superheroes RPG game. IT's not simply because of greater market penetration.

I thought the nigh-infinite hours put into The Gates of Hell might get DiceFreaks some recognition, but I guess it can be chalked up to more of the anti-Epic bias.

Ah, that old chestnut, creeping in already - peoples' favourite can't possibly have won because - no! - there are actually other good products out there; it must be some other reason! Happens every year. :)

Congratulations to all the winners! Each and every one of them is well deserved. And to the nominees - congratulations to you, too. I always think the nomination is the real win.

And a special thank you to Dextra, who again organised the whole thing, to the judges (I'm so glad I didn't have to read all those submissions!), and to all the volunteers who helped out in various capacities. I'm proud of you all!

*rolls eyes*

Just because your favorite product didn't win doesn't mean there's some sort of bias going on. The fact that it got nominated shows that somebody liked it and thought is was pretty darn good.

M&M truly deserves what it got, I just feel a little sad for Spycraft 2.0. I think its an amazing game and should have gotten something :( oh well, I'll still play it :)

M&M 2nd is gorgeous and overall just an amazing product. It deserved its awards. I'm just amazed, as I had the privilege to either write or edit for both Shadowrun, 4th Edition and A Game of Thrones RPG. It goes to figure that the one year I don't go to GenCon is when something really cool happens. :) Just... wow. I'm so pleased. *grin*
