As someone who's been playing or running FabUlt (a much less unfortunate abbreviation lol) since it's English release and already owns all the books... yeah I'm still going in on that Collector's Box. Having standard size hardcover books is a huge deal for me, but the rest of the content is so nice and, by the time all those stretch goals are done, it's going to be incredibly worth it to me.

I love that they're finally publishing a print booklet of all the bonus content from the website (the Necromancer class, the Ace of Cards class, some Disgaea/NIS themed Quirks, some expanded crafting rules, and some Heroic Skills); it's actually a really huge plus, as someone who plays a Necromancer/Arcanist/Chanter character.

I'm really glad the kickstarter is going so well and I can't wait to see how high it goes. I'm truthfully astonished, I thought FabUlt was a very niche game, but people are really coming out for it. Grats to Need Games and Ema.

I did not see that. Time to adjust my pledge. 😩

They’re closing in on $850,000 a bit over 24 hours from launch. They added stretch goals and blew through all but two.

At €777,777 they’re commissioning an OST by JRPG composers. They will most likely reach this today as they’re only €58,000 shy.

At €999,999 they’re unlocking “the future” of Fabula Ultima. Whatever that means.

If the typical formula of triple the amount by the 24-hour mark holds, they will easily blow through both final stretch goals.

Fabula Ultima has surpassed $960K on their Kickstarter, meaning that they have passed their €777,777 stretch goal, but they are still about €182K shy of reaching their €999.999 final(?) goal.

I doubt that I can convince my partner to go all in, but that €400 Collector's Box is looking increasingly tempting in terms of its value as you get all the physical products, including all the different dice unlocked. However, Fabula Ultima is the first time that my partner has expressed an interest in contributing to a TTRPG Kickstarter.

$40k short? They’ll make that tomorrow easily.

I dropped that into a converter and it spit out $1,175,365.25 as the magic number.

That is a lot of money. Maybe take the win.

Adjacent: (since I am guessing some folks following this thread are JRPG fans): as a western CRPG fan my entire life, i have never really played a JRPG. Of the modern ones that seem to get a lot of praise like Octopath Traveler, what JRPG would you recommend for a long time CRPG player? NOTE: I prefer turn based to RTwP
