Enough With The Orc And Pie!

I'm just glad we have all these nice people telling us what is no longer funny. Makes me feel all safe and warm.

BTW I hadn't heard of either 'Orc & Pie' or that Cthulhu 'bloop' thing before reading this thread. King Stannis - you have become part of the problem

:D

DISCLAIMER - the above in no way condones the use or misuse of Orc & Pie or other humourous (or not so humourous) aspects of gamer culture. We all have a responsibility to stamp out the mundane and bland whereever we find it - let's use that power wisely - END DISCLAIMER

Here's a quick test:

All your pie are belong to orc! Best. Joke. EVAR! ROFL!

Did you find that witty and amusing? I can do it all day if you like.

I think King_Stannis's comment is relevant because some people don't, and other people are.

For purposes of this exercise, we shall call the former group "Group A", and the latter group "Group B".

"Group A" have seen the funny so much that it no longer holds much funny for them - instead it has become annoying. "Group B" still see the funny in a comment, and so in order to spread the funny and amuse themselves, they use it regularly. The reason why "Group A" and "Group B" exist is because people have different personalities, and the length at which a joke or humour reference stays amusing is a personal thing.

There is no easy solution - but luckily, it's trivial, so who cares? :D

You know, when I was a regular member here I actually respected KS. But all those months on Nutkinland enlightened me to the true situation.

King Stannis = stoopid.

See, it really isn't about pie.

It's about the abstraction of the essence Monte is attempting to exemplify in the pie.

Now, if a quiche were involved...

I heard a rumour that Monte has the next module in preparation: Drow and Quiche. Is this true?
