Enterprise 11-13-02

Okay, so Malcolm leaves a communicator behind and they have to go back...

And when they go back, not knowing if someone had found it, they bring communicators, scanners, and a phase pistol?

Not exactly smart. Nor was T'Pol's calling Archer on the planet when she didn't know what had happened to the away team.

I think this last episode (as JC is pointing out) just reinforces the idea that we're bumbling around in space in need to set some policies. Even in TOS I never got the impression that we were a fish out of water as much as with Enterprise. I like that edge to the series. :)

Ya hit it right on the head. Honestly, it that submarine-type / shoot-from-the-hip / frontiersman feel that brought me back to Trek. I hated Voyager and just about gave up on the Trek franchise. What they have done is such a breath of fresh air!

And I never really thought of them as bumbling around out there, but that actually makes a good amount of sense. They really have no idea what they are doing. So most of the time, they end up solving the problem with force and usually mucking things up further in the process.

Heh heh... Yup. Hit it with a hammer if it doesn't move with a wrench. :D

BTW, for those of us in Chicago, it looks like the REbroadcast of the usual Wednesday night episodes of Enterprise will be moved from Sunday at 9pm to Saturday at 8pm.
