Enterprise New Season! [Expect Spoilers]

I have the Sunday repeat of the Wednesday rerun on now and they just showed the first promo for the Fall season that I have seen yet. They mark the day as September 10th and run some dialog over the logo which ends, "...but for Enterrpise, it's payback time..." Just a subtle announcement with no emphatic boast or threat; low key. Between the troops they plan to have on board, and that ominous statement, it definitely sounds like they'll be ramping up the action.

Any other news or rumors on the "new direction" they plan to take?

I haven't heard any news on Enterprise here for a while. I'm am REALLY glad I ave friends in the States that tape it for me; we haven't even started season 2 out here

Other than their new adversary, Xindi, is consist of 5 distinct species (at least 2 will be CG), a new cast member, and a new uni for T'Pol (no longer Vulcan High Command officer)? Not much.

I'm still waiting to be impressed.

I stopped waiting sometime in the middle of the second season. I checked out the finale, though I don't expect to be impressed in the third season, either. As the Cynic from http://www.cynicscorner.org says, Star Trek isn't dead. It's "Undead". A shambling, lifeless creature which is a pale imitation of what it was in life.

OK, OK, I get it. Bashing is all the rage and the norm on the Internet, though not very original (only so many ways to say "sux"). How about if someone starts another thread for that and let's try to keep this thread for rumors about the upcoming season, please. Thank you in advance.

Personally I have enjoyed Enterprise from the begining. To me it feels like TOS, which is what I think of when I think of Star Trek. I am looking forward to this new direction.

I definitely understand some of the criticism, I've heard regarding the show. However, I still enjoy viewing it, probably because I never watched DS9 and Voyager and only saw NG on DVD having been in the military when the latter series became popular.

I'm purposely trying not to follow any spoilers or previews for the next season. After a rather boring 2nd season (which is too bad because I thought the show had a pretty good first season) I am hoping that if I do not know anything about the third season it will be a bit more interesting.

Of course, knowing my weak will power when it comes to previews I will probably succumb any miniute now.
