The problem is scale. Even a Colossal mech is a relative speck of dust on an Ultraheavy starship.Masada said:One other thing to those considering publishing a new starship combat system. If possible make it compatible with mecha combat.

Roudi said:Phil- looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Remember that Mecha Power Cores is available for you to draw OGC from.

philreed said:While not a starship system, I am in the process of creating an advanced mecha design system. It incorporates some elements of the D20 Mecha SRD into the Future SRD and adds other items. Part of what I'm doing is looking at the Future SRD starship material and trying to blend some of that into this new mecha system.
The Black Kestrel said:Doh!!! I've been doing the same thing or at least similar concept. I've been adapting/converting d20 future vehicle/starship/mecha rules so that are compatible with the D20 Mecha SRD for another company. The hardest part is figuring out reasonable MP/Purchase DCs and occasionally deconstructing D20 Future to figure out how they came up with some of thier numbers. The conversions will be OGL of course.
