My campaign has recently been reduced from four players to three. The three are: a former common soldier, now a yeoman; a squire, trying hard to get himself knighted, and a member of the Order of the Phantasms of Lyahvi and the Guild of Arcane Lore, though she refers to herself as a scholar. Races: they’re all white, northern-european types. As for non-humans, well, they’ve met a few dwarves, and fought a few goblins, but its other people that give them the most trouble.
The yeoman carries a very well made and very sharp, partially prescient, possibly sentient, bastardsword with some spellcasting abilities that she uses when she wants to, not when he wants her to.
The squire also now uses a bastardsword. His is of dwarven manufacture, it is well balanced, heavy and sharp.
The ‘scholar’ owns a staff and two daggers. She once stabbed someone and recently, to everyones amazement (including hers) she roundhoused a warrior-priest and knocked him unconscious.
My favourite character? Either: the aging, but still hale, knight Sir Brittonius Arcavius; or super-spy and MI6 agent Mrs Crys Frost from an old JB007 campaign. I wasa always rather fond of Loane the Ranger, but that was almost 20 years ago….
