ENWorld, Please give some input!

My campaign has recently been reduced from four players to three. The three are: a former common soldier, now a yeoman; a squire, trying hard to get himself knighted, and a member of the Order of the Phantasms of Lyahvi and the Guild of Arcane Lore, though she refers to herself as a scholar. Races: they’re all white, northern-european types. As for non-humans, well, they’ve met a few dwarves, and fought a few goblins, but its other people that give them the most trouble.

The yeoman carries a very well made and very sharp, partially prescient, possibly sentient, bastardsword with some spellcasting abilities that she uses when she wants to, not when he wants her to.
The squire also now uses a bastardsword. His is of dwarven manufacture, it is well balanced, heavy and sharp.
The ‘scholar’ owns a staff and two daggers. She once stabbed someone and recently, to everyones amazement (including hers) she roundhoused a warrior-priest and knocked him unconscious.

My favourite character? Either: the aging, but still hale, knight Sir Brittonius Arcavius; or super-spy and MI6 agent Mrs Crys Frost from an old JB007 campaign. I wasa always rather fond of Loane the Ranger, but that was almost 20 years ago….

Character Roster

Running two games...

Group 1:
Human Swashbuckler (complete warrior) /Rogue - Rapier
Human Ranger / Rogue - Hand Axes
Human Warmage (minis handbook) - Bastard Sword
Amazon (from wilderlands) Druid - Scimitar

Group 2:
Human Favored Soul (minis handbook) - Longsword
Human Bard - Short Sword & Longbow
Human Rogue - Rapier & flintlock pistol
Human Wizard - Quarterstaff
Grey Orc (from FR) Monk - Bare Hands
Human Fighter - Two-Handed Sword

Favorite character? I almost always DM, so that would be Bethrene, my wife's straight 11th fighter with great cleave and monkey grip with her two-handed sword combo. :)

Current campaigns:

1)
Human Psion (Telepath) with his mind :P. I think he also rarely uses a crossbow on occasion.
Human Fighter/Blademaster with an uber longsword (I'd give it about a +6-7 total enhancement modifier--its a homebrew weapon)
Human Swashbuckler/Rogue/Invisible Blade with (you guessed it) daggers. He's got two magical daggers, one intelligence (I don't know the bonus), another a +1 good aligned dagger
Human Cleric/Inquisitor with a +1 greatclub.
Human Psychic Warrior with Claws of the Beast (Note that this character was completely reworked after the Expanded Psionics handbook came out. Before that she used an exotic "ball and chain" type of weapon that was inspired by Kill Bill vol 1).

2) (I just started running a small evil campaign)
Human Rogue/Psiblade (Gestalt) with daggers (One MW at this point) and occasional use of the psiblade
Human Psion/Favored Soul - Uses a mace (normal at this point)

Other campaigns aren't d20, so no use listing that info :)

Right now I'm in two games, both set in FR:

Game 1 (around 12th level)
PCs:
Half-Elf (used to be halfling) Fighter/Ranger of Meilikki, wields a longsword (based on Link from the Zelda games)
Teifling Monk/Wizard, uses flaming nunchucks (looks a lot like a female version of Nightcrawler)
Halfling Wizard/Druid of Sheela Peryroyl, has a quarterstaff she never uses (specialist summoner who focuses on rodents, and is the grumpiest halfling ever - my character)
Elf Driud/Ranger of ?, bow and sword (gone for summer break, sigh)
NPCs:
Human Rogue, usually uses a heavy crossbow of speed (used to be PC, player moved)
Maug Fighter, wields double-bladed sword (funniest sense of humor ever)
Asimar Paladin of Horus-Re, used big sword (used to be PC, player moved)
Dwarf Fighter, usually threw grenade-like weapons rather than pulling out his pick (crazy as a loon - used to be PC, player moved)

Game 2 (also around 12th level)

This is a solo game my fiance runs for me, so my character is the only true "PC" - a half moon elf rogue/fighter/theif-acrobat who weilds her father's Cormyrian Goblin Thrasher - a +2 goblinbane longsword that we call the "Goblin Thresher" after a nasty sneak-attack crit I got that pretty much blew a bugbear apart. The NPCs that fill out the rest of the party are:
Human Cleric of Tymora, wields a mace
Ghostwind halfling Barbarian, using a +1 greatsword that floats
Asimar Sorceror, has a staff that I don't believe he's ever used to hit anything - oh boy does he love his fire spells!
Halfling Paladin of Avoreen, currently using a stupidly powerful sword my fiance could not believe he rolled up randomly - a bane to magical beasts, ghosttouch, shocking, flaming, vicious +something longsword.

I loves my solo character best! She's just a lot of fun to play, being so noble it hurts sometimes.

We play in the Forgotten Realms in a 3.X campaign. The Lantanese Special Interest Group(Epic) consists of:
Gnome Rog/Wiz/ArcTrickster (Short Sword)
Gnome/Shadow Walker Rog/Shadowdancer (Short Sword)
Gnome Rog/Clr/Techsmith of Gond (Pistols of various caliber)
Shield Dwarf Clr/Divine Disciple/Runecaster of Moradin (Warhammer of Asswhomping)(me)
My favorite character is definitely the above mentioned Runecaster. FYI the Short Swords are a hold over from 3.0 in that they are human Short Swords/Gnome Longswords. We haven't converted fully over yet (next Campaign).

2. What are the weapons that your character(s) or party members using?

Nothing too exotic. Mostly Longswords, Greatswords, Greataxes and Composite bows...

3. What is/was your favorite character (and the weapon they used) in 3.0/3.5 D&D?

Hm. I'd have to say my Barbarian/Rogue, Zako. He uses a longspear or a composite short bow.

AR

I DM for two groups, both in the Forgotten Realms:

Group A (all 4th-5th level)
- Human fighter, greatsword (it's an intelligent sword, and we'll be using the Battle Scion PrC from Swords of our Fathers / Unearthed Arcana as he advances)
- Human fighter, longsword
- Elf ranger (half moon, half wood), composite longbow
- Half-elf druid, scimitar
- Half-elf bard, rapier
- Human cleric / sorcerer, light mace
- Aasimar rogue, light crossbow
- Fire genasi wizard, light crossbow

Group B (13th-14th level)
- Half-orc fighter, greataxe or greatsword (both of them about +2 or so)
- Human cleric, frost & shocking falchion +2
- Halfling rogue / sorcerer, shocking burst crossbow +2
- Fire genasi wizard, hasn't used a weapon in a dog's age

My favorite character (of my own) that was specifically created in 3.0/3.5 was an elf cleric of Solonor (elven god of archery). She had a great Dex, and a lousy Str, so she'd *always* use her longbow, even in melee (5' step back, then shoot with Rapid Shot).

Let's see...the group I GM

Draconic fighter 2/ Sorcerer 3...wants to be Eldritch Knight....Greatsword
Dwarf Fighter 2/ Cleric 3.....wants to be Hammer of Moradin....Hammer
Human Barbarian 3/ Rogue 2...wants to be ????...GreatAxe

Game I play ( the Draconic runs...forgotten realms )

Gold Dwarf WarPriest..14th level...+3 Ghost Touch Maul ( ME )
Human Fighter ( dervish ? ) 14th...twin Scimitars...improved crit...looking for keen
Fire Genasi Fighter 7 Sorcerer 7....longsword

My favorite character was not DnD, but RuneQuest 2 ( Glorantha ) DnD character has to be my current one...
