Current 3.5E 'generic' game (all level 5-6):

Female Drow Sorceror - rapier, hand crossbow
Female Human Druid - quarterstaff
Female Human Rogue - longsword
Female Human Ranger - light maces
Male Human Ftr/Ranger - comp. longbow, greatsword when necessary
Male Dwarf Cleric - waraxe
Male Kobold Cleric (NPC) - dagger, some kind of bow or crossbow
Male Human Monk, reincarnated as a halfling (shrunk in the wash) - unarmed
Male Naga ftr/barb/paladin - greatspear. This is me - the Naga is from the Warcraft Alliance & Horde Compendium, the CG paladin variant is from UA. Aiming for Frenzied Berserker eventually.

3. Fav PC - Sorcerer chr 18, int & wis =7 fav weapon - MOUNT SPELL.

I don't recall him ever making an attack roll.
Great Sword & (I think) Bow
Paired Short Sword? & Bow?
Glaive & (I think) Long Sword

Guess I don't pay much attention to what weapons other people's characters use.

3. What is/was your favorite character (and the weapon they used) in 3.0/3.5 D&D?

Halfling Druid. Sling & any thrown weapon really. For melee he typically used a sickle or a torch.

Party I currently play in (7th sea d20, Ravenloft intermixed, 3.5e):

Eisen Human: 3rd Fighter/3rd Eisenfaust Swordsman/6th Cavalier (homebrew prestige). Wears heavy armor, and wields a panzerhand in offhand (armored gauntlet), and a bastard sword in primary. At home in the saddle.

Avalon Human: 1st Wanderer/8th Alchemist. Likes grenades.

Vendel/Highland Marches Human: 7th(?) Ranger/2nd (?) Urostifter Swordsman. Wields two longswords for godawful damage.

Castillian Human: 10th level Highwayman. Guns, lots and lots of guns.

Huge horde of NPCs (we have a mini army...).

My favorite character I have ever played... The Eisen Knight listed above. 10+ pages of history, 10-15 background characters developed for the GM, a cohort, followers, a wife... Love him.

-Rogue6/ranger3, human, dual wielding shortswords, has an animated buckler, uses a short bow

-transmuter 9, elven, uses a rapier and a longbow

Group 2:

fighter2/rogue4 (my PC), dwarf, wields a hammer and shield, uses a crossbow
rogue4/ranger2, human, uses a longsword and kukri
fighter2/bard4, human, uses a shield and rapier, and a flintlock pistol
Druid 6, human, uses a club
sorcerer 6, human, uses a light mace or a crossbow.
