Russ, can you tell us what is needed? I understand that giving exact figures might be a little touchy, but until we have some idea of what needs to be done it is difficult to get a grasp on the situation.

Yep, me too. I purchased a CS account--something I've meant to do for a while, damn my procrastination--between the time I saw the notice on the front page and now.

Oh, well. Hopefully if the short term is fixed, it'll help with the long term.

Paypal is actually a great solution. Morrus could get the money quickly, and if we pay the full price, he can still get Community Supporter accounts for those who need it. Just include your screen name with the paypal purchase.

Again, though, there's the question of how much is needed. But I'd be willing if it can help keep the site running.

Well, then community supporter accounts are out, how can we get Morrus money FAST. I know Creamsteak is FAST, at least according to his sig, but I don't think even he can get money that soon.

I can't use PayPal, I'm afraid. I had an account and it was frozen last year (no reason given).

That said, the amount we need is prohibitive; I don't think that a collection is a realistic solution. We're $1600 behind, and the deadline is tomorrow.
