I hit my 30th anniversary in Nov 2008. :) That's when I got my AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide. I got my PHB a few days later and was rolling dice with my 7th grade friends a couple of days after that.

Dang, that's a long time... And I still have that DMG.

In 1995, I started DMing games online. I haven't gamed offline since then.
Wow, moving to NC 18 months ago, I have found there's a lot of gaming. And you haven't played a face-to-face game in 14 years? Holy smokes! :)

Are games harder to find in the Piedmont triad (Winston-Salem/High Point/Greensboro for the uninitiated), or do you just prefer online? And why? I am genuinely curious because I was thinking of doing an online game, but I would never drop my f2f game if I could only do one.

Started in 1994... though I was 18 then; if I'd started in junior high like some of you, I'd be just cracking 20 years instead of 15...

I started in the summer of 1977, at 7 years old. Since I just turned 39 in November, rpgs have been present in my life for 31 years, or for 77.8% of my life B-)
