[Epic] Blazefire

I was looking at the Shape of Fire and Lavawight in the ELH and noticed that the weaker lavawight (created when a Shape of Fire slays a creature via its blazefire ability) has a higher DC than the Shape of Fire itself! Calculating the DCs (10 + 1/2 HD + Cha modifier), I found that the Shape of Fire is off by 10!

Has anyone else found problems with the listed DCs in the epic monsters?

I haven't noticed any myself yet, but I do feel that MANY things in the epic book are poorly written, self contradictory etc etc. Not Wizard's most shining hour when they published that book.

And just in case anyone accuses me of being a WOTC basher, I loved manual of the planes, great book and excellent work!
