Epic Character's Collection

In the weekly epic level game I participate in, our characters are about to go world-hopping in search of a number of artifacts. In addition to the various D&D campaign worlds (the Realms, Dark Sun, etc.) our characters will be hitting a number of other fantasy and sci-fi worlds, alternate Earths, and the like.

My character is an eccentric (read "evil") rogue and mindbender who, as an epic character, has taken up the hobby of collecting things. This is reasonable, as all 61-year-old wizards should have some sort of hobby, right? Well, his hobby is collecting people. Particularly people of the beautiful and exciting female variety.

Now, the reason for my post is that I'd like help from you lot in making up a list of folk my character should be out to collect while his party is world-hopping. I'm looking for names, as well as a few sentances of description and history for characters from fiction, fantasy worlds, sci-fi, d20 modern, anime, the works.

What have you got for me?

This.

This right here.

This is why so few females roleplay.

This is why there are long and angsty "how do I get girls to play in my group" threads going at all times.

There are lots of Gor fansites out there. Find one of them.

Wow.

It's been a while since I was so taken aback by something I read on the grid. I had to check to see if I was still at the EN Boards, or if I'd somehow gotten onto the WotC site. Apparently I have offended you, Jhamin, so I appologize.

I do, however, think you are mistaken in your view of me and what I was trying to do with my character. You obviously appear to believe I wanted my character to go from world to world "doing it" with all the "hot chicks" he could find. This isn't so. The character is lawful evil, has devoted his life to the study of Bluff, Diplomacy, and bending others to his will, and is about to become a lich.

As a lich, my goal for him was to collect beautiful, living museum pieces from across the planes. If this plan causes "long and angsty 'how do I get girls to play in my group' threads," then people are definitely worse off that I thought before. And rather than just sticking Gor fantasies in my face, how about a little constructive criticism? What should this epic character do for a hobby?

I certainly don't think collecting silver pieces and +1 daggers is going to cut it.

Kick Aragorn's ass and take Arwen.

If somebody posted asking for advice on a character that liked to molest small children and animals (cause he was evil), it would be considered somewhat offensive by many.

This is a post about how your character likes to go from dimenson to dimension kidnapping hot chicks so he can mind control them and add them to his collection (cause he is powerful and evil) and can we give him some suggestions for his hit list?

I think parallels can be drawn.

I'm not sure how to be constructive.

Lighten up..... The question was asked in a serious manner with no obvious intention to offend. I have seen post by "young kids" where they are just trying to "get some" in-game, because they can't out of game. Playing an evil character does not mean you are evil, nor that you want to do these 'evil' things. My character goes hunting and killing dragons, and demons....in the real world, I really would not be interested; even if they existed.

Jhamin, you must have stood on Monte Cook's lawn protesting the content in the Book of Vile Darkness..... Count to ten and say "Pins and needles, needles and pins a happy man is a man who grins" Feel better?

Xagunder MacFaileas:

A cool adventure would be to steal Daenerys Targaryen from the George R.R. Martin masterpiece. To make it more of a challenge for an Epic character... let her dragons grow up, give then the feats in Draco....(something) by Wizards.....and Maybe even make one a Prismatic Dragon. She is incredibly beautiful, charismatic (her ability to lead). She would make a fine addition to your collection, as well as be one hell of an encounter!

I'm assuming that (1) you're not really looking for stats, just ideas for potential abductees, and (2) you're not looking for "easy takes". I can give some "book character" ideas, not all of which match D&D all that well.

Lady Polgara from the Edding's "Belgariad" series (and ad nauseum later) series. A god couldn't break her will, so it should be pretty unlikely the character could do it either. High value, very low probability of success. She is powerful, there are about a dozen powerful people (ranging from significantly less powerful to god-slaying power) who would ruthlessly hunt down her abductor. If you've read the books, you probably didn't have to read past the name.

Morgaine kri Chya from C.J. Cherryh's "Gates" series. She's a powerful fighter with a freaking Sphere of Annihilation at the end of her sword! Hope he's brushed up of his Reflex save, because it's an area effect not a touch effect! Since she is from a grittier universe than standard D&D, she is very equipment-poor by D&D standards, which the DM will probably want to correct. Her Will save may need some working on to avoid the "easy take" syndrome.

Irissa from Carole Nelson Douglas' "Six of Swords" series. While she spent most of the "book time" without her powers, when she regains them she is a force to be reckoned with. Not the wisest of souls, and will occasionally do something really stupid if her will is being thwarted. She's married to a former barbarian/fighter (Kendric) who is now almost as powerful a sorcerer as she is. She's worked under a far looser magic system than D&D is, so it is likely she has a number of metamagic feats. Her husband is far less subtle, and likely used even the feats he gained as a sorcerer to finish off the Great Cleave and Whirlwind Attack chains...

Relax, mates. If you can't think of anything to add to a discussion, there are certainly more than enough other threads here that hopefully are more to your liking. :)
