Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

I'm updated Durkon to remove the clawed arms/weapon grafts as well as the 2 extra greatswords, I've re-tooled Durkons main weapon and added back elec & sonic resistance to his armour and given him the feathered wings graft.

This leaves 269000gp which hasn't been spent yet, before I rush off and spend this money I thought I'd check to see what your view on Aboleth Tentacles/Weapon Grafts is.

Since the Aboleth Tentacle states that it can be added below the existing arm, I'm interest in using this in conjuction with weapon grafts, also if you do allow this how would these extra attacks be resolved? i.e would Durkon need multi-weapon fighting feat or the multi-attack feats or something else.

Aboleth Tentacles are primary natural weapons, judging from the description. In other words, you take a -5 to hit with them if you use them in conjunction with your iterative attacks, and the strength bonus is halved (after adding the +4). But if you strike with them alone you hit at normal BAB and with the whole strength bonus.

You can have up to two, one below each arm.

If you take Multiattack, the full-attack penalty is lessened to -2. Multiweapon Fighting doesn't work because they are not manufactured weapons.

Weapon grafts go on hands, so you can't use them together.

It may be prudent to carry your own supply of diamonds, everyone. You can't expect the Cleric the shell out for them.

And a couple of scrolls, too. Just in case the Cleric kicks the bucket.

The build I have so far isn't exactly ideal for the role of party healer, but n casting true ressurection once or twice a day should be no problem. Here's the bare bones

Voidrazor,

You may want to reconsider automatic quicken spell. The last published source of it was the complete arcane and in there it was eviscerated to only be one level at a time (first feat gives you 0 and 1, second feat gives you 2 and so on)

The last published source is usually considered the official one.

Pyrex, Nephtys: good to have you back.

Since there are new players, we'll have to start from the beginning. You can use the same chars from last time, though. The rules haven't changed. Though I'd appreciate it if everyone stayed together this time.

Go ahead and put your chars into the new RG thread.

Since Bloodweaver haven't submitted a char yet, I'll put him down as an alt.

Here's the new players list:

Azaar, Wrahn, Shayuri, Lord_Raven, Pyrex, Nephtys.

Six is about the limit of players I'm willing to take. New players will be put down as alts.

Wonderful :D. I'll try to be more team-oriented this time (though I won't promise not to pursue an individual agenda).

Like last time, I will houserule that each feat gives two levels, except the first one. (i.e. first gives 0, 1, 2, next one gives 3 & 4, next one gives 5 & 6, etc.)

Woo hoo!

I took a quick look at the character generation rules and didn't see any changes. Any changes I should be looking for?

Diamonds? Who builds an epic cleric w/o Ignore Material Components? *hint* ;)

Void, you might consider swapping out your Auto Quicken feats for Improved Metamagic and Ignore Materials. There are tons of juicy Cleric spells with silly component costs.

And if the Cleric bites it I've always got Reincarnate.

Lessa has been posted to the new RG.

By my reading the chargen rules haven't changed, so she should be good to go.

I'll likely be swapping in spells from CDiv and/or PHB2 in the near future though.

Nephtys: the Lavender and Green ioun stone is a banned item this time. Same with the Rod of Absorption.
