I'm pretty close to the finishing touches on mine. There are still a bunch of spells to pick and favored forms, but the basics are done. I'll put together a background soon as well. The gist of the story will be that Xhelle mistakenly believes that it (neither he nor she but neuter) has purged itself of Naramyr's corruption via metamorphic abilities. But it sees cooperation with the Perfect's other heralds as the best means towards achieving its own ambitions.
Regarding issues of crunchiness, please let me know if using the Transmogrifist's Infinite Variety ability to grab the Arcane Ooze's resistance to magic is allowable. Since Rod of Absorption is out, it may be a problem.
