Speaking of changes, there are some I'd like to make to my equipment-list. I seem to have a Greater Rod of Maximize too many and a G Rod of Quicken too few, a rather foolish choice considering the number of Quickened spells Moreth can cast in a round. 4 Meteor Swarms in a round may not end a battle at our level, but at least they make a hell of a show...

Another question. How do you expect our characters to behave towards each others? Do you want us all on one side of the conflict or are we allowed to choose freely? If not, is it majority vote that decides or whoever has the strongest "argument". I realise intra-party conflict is discouraged, but compromise will likely be difficult to achieve at times. Should we agree before-hand ooc about the course we should take ic?

What about players posting at different speeds? Dividing the party is the best cure for that, as far as the games progress is concerned, but it increases your work-load.

Also... did the events that took place in the first game also take place in this one? Meaning that Moreth and Lessa were created, sent out into the world and killed a big bad air elemental, only to be recalled to the Perfect just before Moreth's barrage of spells impacted on the Cathedral of Goodness? Maybe the attack triggered some powerful defense, maybe it dispeased the Perfect or maybe the Eye causes strange ripples in time... Or maybe not.

I was planning on having Lessa treat what happened in the original game as something of a prophetic fever dream.

@Shayuri: Doh! Have you by any chance read the first thread? From your first post your characters personality seems very similar to Lessa's...

No changes to equipment now that the game has started. You want another rod, you'll have to find a merchant that sell it.

My only requirement is that you all stay in the one place, so I suppose you'll have to decide any course of action as a party. Mainly the concern is synchronising the time - it may create weird problems if someone is resting for 8 hours in one post while another is slicing it round-by-round.

As for how you decide - work that out amongst youselves. Just don't take too long in each decision. Or if you want me to roll dice for it, then that's fine too.

What happened before: it is as if it never happened, both for you and for others involved, and your memory is a haze, but sometimes you get a sense of deja vu. As for the how and why... maybe you can find someone IC to explain it to you sometime down the line.

My apologies. It's been a crazy week. I'll have a post up by noon PST. (which is within three hours of this post for any of y'all in farther time zones ;) )

I...haven't. Oops.

Lessa has MPD?

Okay...I can do something else. It's only been one post. :)

No, no MPD, but a similar 'damaged' vibe that's part Illyria and part Robert Jordanish 'broken by the taint'. (not that Lessa is directly modeled after either source, but certain elements of both provided quite a bit of inspiration)

I've been fiddling with a Sacred Fist build. Its not too shabby so far. But its tricky trying to fit everything in. Here's my extrapolation of the epic progression. Let me know what you think.

Epic Sacred Fist
AC Bonus – increases to +4 at 15th and +5 at 20th
Spells – Caster level but not spells per day increases at each level
Unarmed Damage – does not increase
Unarmored Speed Bonus – Increases to +40 at 11th, +50 at 13th, +60 at 16th and +70 at 18th
Sacred Flames – Usages increase to 3/day at 12th, 4/day at 16th and 5/day at 20th
Code of Conduct – An Epic Sacred Fist who gains a level in any other class may never again increase in Epic Sacred Fist. Note: IMO levels in other classes between non-epic and epic Sacred Fist should be allowable. Otherwise a character that took levels in non-epic at the first opportunity would be barred from epic.
Bonus Feats – One bonus feat at 15th another at 20th
