And imps are in Savage Species, though I'm not sure if that's allowed, as the first post says monster progressions from that book aren't allowed.

No imps.

If you still haven't decided on a character concept, I reiterate my preference for an archer of some kind.

Okay, seems reasonable. Is there another way you would advise to determine what spells are on a target, or is it sort of a guessing game?

Warlocks are pretty underpowered at epic.

You get one blast per round. Two if you make with some sort of quicken. But it's not a whole lot of damage output no matter how you cut it.

Generally, you'll know when whatever attack you are using fizzles, or deals less-than-expected damage.

Other than that, you'll have to guess.

Alright, then. I'll see if I can't come up with some sort of archer this weekend. Is it still alright if I play a ghoul?

I got an unforeseen job-offer a few days ago so I'll be at sea for a month or so. I don't know wether I'll have access to the internet, but if I will let you know. I'm sorry if this inconveniences you, but the offer was too good to turn down.

Have fun
