Epic Metapsionics question

In the PsiHb, it sias that Psionic characters can spend up to their level minus one in power points when using Metapsionic feats to enhance their powers. Is this a HUGE advantage over epic sorc/wiz? I mean, a Lv 60 Psion could spend 59 PP worth of metapsi without a single feat! Is there some erratta or blatantly obvious rule that sais otherwise?

Yep, he could. Its one of the things that a psion does better than a sor/wiz. Heck, even non-epic psions can effectively use higher than 9th level powers by upping a 9th level power with 2 points of metapsionics.

ADn if I'm not mistaken, they continue getting PP, too. Damn, these dudes are BROKEN in Epic levels. Powers don't scale? Manifest 2 61 PP pumped up versions of Detonation per round!

Yeah, but you'll find yourself burning through resources faster than a Hastred Wizard with Quicken spell.
