Epic PrC Idea for Eadric of Deorham Urgently Required

question about immutable form: would eadric be able to supress this ability at will? if not, it may make certain enterprises [like the current one] somewhat difficult.

Isn't immunity to spell an unbeatable SR ? If so, one may always lower voluntarily one's SR to 0...

That class seems very well made, I don't have special criticism about it, now...

And, oh, he can't cast light once per day... That would be mostly useless, but is that a reason to left it out ?

Well, I was under impression that all Deities(inculding Quasi-Deity) have maximum hit points for each HD.

It said so on P.26 of D&Dg, however, it then contradict itself with the example on Asgardian Monster on P.199.

Perhaps its only a minor issues, but just to mention it anyway.

the only criticism I could have being about "it’s effects stack" -- argh! its !
Yep, that really annoys me too. Fixed in the interests of correct English.

Good point - it was in the 'beatitudes' draft but somehow slipped through this one. Fixed at 20th level - which is kind of nice, as it was looking rather anticlimactic otherwise.

Also, what about the rest of the characters?

Nwm is happy with Druid - as always. Ortwin wants something custom-built which revolves around mendacity, bluffing, undetectable lies etc. - but its not an issue quite yet.

Don't get me started on Mostin. Dan has some very nice - but hugely overpowered ideas. He'll be next up for inspection and dissection.

Truly excellent work, Sep. The only thing I might suggest changing is the SR special ability -- maybe make it SR 5 + character level, so that it stays relevant as he goes up in level. By level 40, SR 32 isn't going to buy you much anymore...

Ah, that will be fun to see! This is as much fun as the story hour!

I really like the Breath of Oronthon class. I hope Marc gets a kick out of it too. And I would say "no" to the idea of scaling the SR; as another poster pointed out, it might not give much protection against epic spellcasters of an equivalent level, but it is very useful against low-level casters (especially when the various immunities and resistances are taken into account). Many monsters top out at caster level 20, and SR 32 is still good at that stage.

I still wonder about Resurrection and Edric. Would he use it? Should he use it?

I agree on all points :D

It almost seems to me that Restoration might be a better alternative given Oronthon's general disapproval of coming back from the dead. (Can Resurrection be refused like Raise Dead can? If not, then the moral quandries go even deeper).

Even if Resurrection stays, Restoration may be a good addition to the list of special abilities. Oh and Light at will, too (it's only a cantrip afterall) :D
