Epic Weapon Focus and specialisation

Mal Malenkirk

...Are they supposed to stack on normal WF and WS or replace them?

For example, Epic WF says

Add +2 bonus to all attack rolls you make using the selected weapon.

So do we now get +3 with the weapon or does the +2 replace the +1?

Pro +2 :

Bonus usually don't stack.

Pro +3 :

1 - When it's supposed to replace instead of stacking, the description of the feat mentions it, such as in the description of the Superior initiative feat.

2 - There is a feat that grant +1 to all your attack no matter the weapon you use (Epic Prowess) so it stands to reason that a feat that is more specialised would be more powerful for the one weapon it covers

If it's an unnamed bonus, it would stack with any other unnamed bonus (including the one granted by the non-Epic version of the feat).

As to whether this is what's intended or is just sloppy writing, who knows? I doubt it's going to destroy your game either way.

It stacks, both by the rules, as stated above, and by the fact that it's EPIC. If the feat only gave you an effective +1 with ONE weapon, why not just take the feat that gives you +1 to ALL attacks?
