The strip has potential, but that's all it is right now. A couple of comments from a complete laymen regarding wecomics.
1. Did anyone notice that the first page of art was completely worse than all the rest? [I realize it was probably supposed to be done in 'dream' style where things were fuzzy. But shouldn't you want the front to be spectacular?
2. I still find the intentionaly mispellings annoying. We have "R"s and "L"s in this alphabet for a reason. Use them for words like Dragon and Goblin.
3. I find the use of the word "croak" instead of dead to be irritating.
4. I find the whole "croakamancer/findamancer/etc" to be very juvenile as well.
5. The dragon looks more like barney's best friend than something fierce.
But the artwork is pretty! [If you like anime style with sharp outlines.] That's where most of the potential lies. With the artwork, of course. It's like the complete inverse of OotS. You read OotS for the story and the masterful self-mocking of the D&D system. You also laugh at how Rich can convey so much through simple near stick figures. In ErfWorld, the story isn't that great, the D&D mocking is irritating, but the artork is terrifically sharp and well done (for anime style).
Yep, complete opposite of OotS. Night and Day, those two are.
