I was there for the 3e pre-release news, as many of the old timers...
For half of my life I have been involved in Eric Noah's or ENWorld sites, OMG!

It's funny to see a few old usernames that I remember from those days still posting here! Big shout-out to anyone that remembers the [Hivemind] threads in the Meta forum, and how we ended up negatively affecting the whole forum with how long they were! I was posting from internet cafes as I didn't have home internet at the time.
Things have changed a lot in some ways, but I'm still a gamer.

Of course I remember the [Hivemind] threads of the Meta forum, who many sleepless nights I spent there, reading and posting as if there was no tomorrow...

Yep. I didn't join until "recently"(2014), with the closure of the Wizards forums, IIRC.
But I did have it on my quick-bar...

There was a big database crash in Jan 2002 and pretty much everything was lost. That's why there's so many "Jan 2002" accounts.
I was a pre-crash member of the site as well and became one of those illustrious 'joined in Jan 2002' members when the servers got re-made.

Now it is denoted by our 'Legend' tags... although that's mainly from number of 'thumb's ups' we've gotten over the decades, rather than purely length of stay.

Bah, you're a 4 digit member ID; I am deeply judging you. :)
