I want more tech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- sorry I just like gear, what can I say. and the whole demon thing would be a bad Idea-(I dont want my dm to throw any more of those at me, once through the abyss was enough for me. I'm sure it would sell well and be a good book though. I just dont want him to give my dm any more ideas!)

Based on Erik's other interests/focus areas, and the inclusion of James Jacobs, I can only surmise that this is a Draconomicon-style book of Fiends. If so, then I am officially now on Cloud 9.

That would work for me too. I didn't get Draconomicon despite having a dragon-heavy campaign simply b/c one of the players did first. I wanted my dragons to follow their own internal rules and not be something the players already had meta knowledge about. They're good players and do a great job of not abusing metaknowledge so it was mainly the "ho-hum, it must have the feat from page 258" factor I wanted to avoid.

Fiends aren't as interesting to my players so I suspect I could pick this up and save some brainpower.

An official demon book by am no and jacobs would be a must buy, but I could care less about tech. Keep your marmalite away from my choclate.

Besides this could be a logical exstension of the dragon/undead/abberation series.

You should pick it up anyway, I was in the same situation (a household of 3 players got Draconomicon before I did), and I was heading into a dragon heavy game. I rewrote a lot of dragonic nature to suit my own tastes (dumber, only 4 colors, usually NE) but some of the feats and dragon spells are Gorgeous - and the players are enjoying the quivers of dragontooth arrows and the Dragon claw falchion (recently upgraded to keen) It also has a good expanded treausre table.

I have decided to figure out what the project is by finding anagrams of "Erik Mona"

Oooh! That sourcebook I've been waiting for on Italian book publishing! Now I'll be able to run that campaign where the PCs are all Renaissance book printers and binders, ferretting out evil through their judicious use of moveable type!
