Errors

True. But the way they work is to pretty much ignore any playtest reports that do nothing but rant about how the character sheet has greataxes at 2d6, while the How To Play lists them as 1d12. Because it doesn't sound as though that's the kind of feedback they give two figs about right now. So getting worked up about it is pointless. Playtest the game... don't playtest the editing.
Then they'll ignore it. That doesn't mean we can't talk about it.

Part of how the game actually plays is that if the fighter picks up a sword and swaps in a shield for some reason, we don't know how to calculate his new attack and damage bonuses.
They get Ability +3 to attack if they're proficient, and Weapon damage +Ability +4 if they hit. The 2d6 vs. 1d12 is, I agree, likely a typo from a previous playtest. If you need to, though, just say that this dwarven Fighter has an heirloom weapon. If he picks up a different greataxe, it'd only be 1d12.

Not only does the pelor cleric use his strength instead of dex with the staff (which is not in and of itself an error just stupid as you can use either str or dex for finesse weps) he is not proficient with it, as it is not a basic but a finesse wep.

Not listed in his wep and armour proficiecies, and we are calm but disappointed. Most of these errors or omissions could have been sorted by a single independent read through. And they effect the play test unless I never change the wep in my hand or armour on my body.

I think I remember there being the error of the Wizard doing 1d6-1 with a quarterstaff, when the elf Wizard should be doing 1d6+1 damage since it's a finesse weapon and they can add their dex mod instead.

The blanket finesse rule looks like a recent addition to the ruleset, I know the kobolds enjoyed upgrading their melee attack to the dagger.

I just finished building the ElfWizard in detail and the math is full of contradictions and errors. So is the fighter, so is the halfling. This is just not good play-test material. It's not ready.

You can cast only 3 spells per day and then you have to use the quarterstaff.
ShockingGrasp damage is listed as 1d8+3 lightning but under the Magical Attacks section it says that you add your intelligence modifier +2 to the attack. That is 1d20+5 not 1d20+6

I'm starting to get very angry because this entire packet looks like it was put together by an intoxicated dwarf in under a week who doesn't play the game. I feel like we're being punked and trolled.

Please keep your hair on. There is no point in getting angry, no point insulting the people you (presumably) want to play test for.

If this attitude continues you'll likely end up with a suspension from enworld, as we don't intend to let this become as toxic an environment as it did during the release of 4e.

Thanks

Suspension would suck. I'll try to behave.
