At the weekend I had the chance to start running EfDP without too much prep (I read the first two chapters of the adventure half a day before running it) and noticed that I had to check some things elsewhere (which led to me having one tablet with the VC PDF, a printout of EfDP, another tablet with VC for the players and I still had to check some things elsewhere on my phone)
Has anyone run the whole adventure and already has some collected texts/handouts/...?
What I noticed so far (Prelude and Act 1):
Since I still need to compile some pregens (building the 2 pcs that played on saturday night took a while for those completely new players), I'll stick to that for the moment.
That being said... I really impressed with the adventure that while still honoring some of the tropes of starter adventures (like killing rats) it really lets the characters feel important.
Has anyone run the whole adventure and already has some collected texts/handouts/...?
What I noticed so far (Prelude and Act 1):
- Picture of the "Unity Council" with names (might be good for the outside of the screen just to get faces to the names)
- Monster/NPC stats: Ruffians, Ravix, Leech Creepers, Awakened Trees (MM p. 438), combat drone, stunner drone, service (medical) robot, sentry robot, voidmaw
- Equipment cards for "important" items you get in the adventure: Flamethrowers, incendiary grenades
- Hacking Flowchart (VC p. 210) (Maybe even compile the whole hacking chapter into a small "Hacker Bible" booklet)
- Ship sheets: Unity's Joy starfighter, Orrigan's Claw starfighter
