Essentails Rogue/Assassin Question

Forgive me, my HFL has not come in and I only have the essentials rogue from gameday and the dragon article with the Assassin to go by. My question is, can an Assassin take the Rogue's class feature, first strike, or is there another way to get it? Seems that would be a cool power to have for an executioner. Thanks in advance!

*oops, realized I spelled essentials wrong in the title*

If you are aloud to use stuff from before essentials, Martial Power has the feat "First In." It gives you First Strike, but you'll have to paragon multiclass as rogue.

The Essentials feat Aggressive Advantage might work: CA against all enemies during your first turn in the encounter. It beats First Strike in most situations--First Strike only outshines it in surprise rounds.

HotFL has "Aggressive Advantage", which gives you CA against all enemies during your first turn of an encounter. Which is actually slightly better than first strike, because it works even if the monster surprised you or had a higher initiative roll than you. OTOH, it costs a feat (it isn't a feature like First Strike).
