Yup.I assume you cannot / will not reproduce them, so is this a ‘how to play one’ section?

As complex as the A5e Fighter? curiousI would like it because I dislike how simplistic Fighter is and I wish it could be more ceomplex and advanced.
Sure.Is this sort of thing something you would be interested in? If so, what would you like to see in it?
So... Level Up: Advanced 5e then? They already did that!Sure.
Something like the AD&D 2nd edition Complete Fighter's Handbook, or more importantly what it aspired to do. Like, if you wanted to play a bronze- or stone-age campaign, not just how to do it, but how to do it but still fight dragons and ghosts and such. Same with a sea-faring campaign (preferably not just 'everyone play a dex-based fighter') or swashbuckling (fighter) campaign.
Likewise, more things for fighters other than more character-build options to take. New actions or maneuvers any fighter can do. More actions other than combat -- the 2e one spent time on smithing, this could be leadership or mercenary companies or mini siege rules. Downtime or reputation rules, dueling rules.
Mundane item rules more complex than what we have. Maybe an armor list for people who hate studded leather and ring mail and other historical inaccuracies. Different arrow types. Martial spears. Maybe a 'fantastical fantasy' subsection with stuff like D&D 3e had (thunderstones, tanglefoot bags, spiked chains and dual sided weapons). Rules for minor upscale enhancements for campaigns without magic items (or in addition to) -- hidden compartments, poison reservoirs, push-button holy water sprayer, who knows.
Mostly just more stuff other than new sub-class and feat options.
This is apparently specifically for D&D 5e (2024), and specific to fighters.So... Level Up: Advanced 5e then? They already did that!
To each their own. I can't go online without being advertised 3-6 new 3PP products that are for the most part new subclasses, feats, spells, and monsters.I would like more options like subclasses and stuff but I'm not looking for more complexity.
This reminds me I need to do some comparison between 2024 Monk, A5E Adept and Tales of the Valiant Monk. And I think I should also do 2024 Pugilist. As complex as the A5e Fighter? curious
I liked the Complete Thief book with its specialized thieving equipment that I was unfamiliar with; I’d love to see things like that.Sure.
