Though some rule that a cleric must continually have LoS to a target for the weapon to keep working (not my interpretation, but it comes up quite a bit.) It's worth checking with the DM.

Spiders didn't come up. DM tossed a side trek in and we spend the session hunting for flowers. And after I'd memorised spells to deal with poison too.... :\

Got about over a month to next game so I'll ask DM closer to the time.
