Didn't see this posted anywhere here yet. Perhaps this will help with some of the bugs you guys have seen.

So what's the general concensus? Are you pleased with CMP's job or were you disapointed and let down?

I would have to say that so far I am very pleased. I'm still waiting on the data sets to give my final judgement, but CMP has donean amazing job with the quality of work and timeliness of their releases given what they had to work with.

And now that it looks like CMP no longer has to go through WotC to certain kinds of updates/patches etc. I think we're going to start to see a level of responsiveness that we didn't before -- quick responses to bug reports, etc.

Correct, the data sets still have to go through WotC... but there's time constraints on their approval/QA still...

So far WotC's responsiveness has been pretty good, I have nothing to complain about there... so I don't expect any issues over the data sets themselves (as far as approval goes - there's all kinds of code issues *sigh*).

Sorry to say I havent seen anything about another site yet theoremtank. There may be one, but i just havent run across any info on it if there is. if i do see anything anywhere about it i will post here.

You can get the 1.2.0 patch from d20zines (either in their downloads section, or on the review there is another mirror listed) and at File Planet (No you _DO NOT_ have to pay for a membership to download the file).

We haven't made 1.2.1 available just yet on any mirrors, we bumped up our bandwidth a bit, and so far it's holding at molassas instead of dead in the water.

We are planning on getting some mirrors here soon, but it takes time to make the arrangements and get the files over to them, timing and coordination, but as soon as we do, I or someone from our boards will post it over here.

Pleased here....

I was tickled pink with the 1.2 patch and then I see the 1.2.1??? Geez, thanks for the quick action Mynex!!!

It is a tad bit slooooooow..... :D My cable modem is pumping out a wondrous 516 bytes per second at 11:24pm

I guess I will install it tomorrow when I wake up!

Just out of curiosity, are you bandwidth-throttled or cpu-throttled? (I'm assuming bandwidth 'cause that's what you mentioned, but the alternative is also possible and can be fixed in different ways.)
