Eureka "Bad to the Drone" Season Premiere 07-29-08

I felt let down, or rather underwhelmed.
Good:
I like Allison's new look and its good to see her happy. Stark was back to form. The new boss looks like an interesting foil and obsticle. Fargo is becoming tolerable. Joe is more human, in a good way. Henry is in jail and bald, which works for some reason.
Bad:
It was perfectly predictable the drone would blast through the jail wall and later sneak up behind the girl. The robot drone having a teen-age hissy fit felt silly, and while the Cylon gag was funny the goofy design of the drone undercut the tension.
Ugly:
Carter had not persued Allison last season, seemingly content to be single or date the dry cleaning lady. His pining for Allison, and his daughter and Joe's suggestion he missed something, felt out of place. And where was the dry cleaning lady?

A little too busy, but hey season starter. I liked it.
I was thinking, there at the beginning, that the drone was looking for Sarah, as mom!

This is a good thing? I don't like the new look and I hope he doesn't stay in jail too long. Henry's my favorite character!
You know, I wondered this as well. Was glad for her cause I really am not a big fan of love triangles except in a few rare cases, and this was not one of those for me. Was like 'Screw Allison, go back to the dry cleaning lady'.
I liked the way it adds tension to the show, and Henry looks more preditory.

This show is great...the shorten season makes it more enjoyable.

I thought the episode was good but that the 'musical' promo for the show was better.

The only real issue I had was the blatant product placement that they are doing now.
